This page introduces a set of pages showing various houses and buildings of some historical significance. Significance to me, in any event. First we start with Roscoe Village, near Zanesville, OH. Then we have a few more shots from Millersburg, OH. I have also included a page for the White Oak Inn, where we spent a couple of nights. The Inn is located on the western "edge" of Ohio's Amish country, and made a perfect launching point for our excursion. Finally, I include a representative sample of pictures I took in a local Columbus neighborhood. This also happens to be the neighborhood where I grew up, as well.
Quaint 1830's restored canal town.
Small town in the heart of Ohio Amish country.
Fabulous bed & breakfast in Danville, OH, near Mt. Vernon. Yes, I have stayed there, and most heartily recommend it. Say hello to Ian and Yvonne for me.
Columbus suburb containing many Craftsman- and bungalow-style treasures. Even some Victorian gems, too.
